The Poetry Project

It's finally here!

The Writer's Block Poetry Project is officially underway!

The Poetry Project is in the same fashion as The Writer's Block Project in where a book will be written by you, the members. There are seven different categories that everyone will write about, one at a time. Everyone will have an equal opportunity to the same amount of work in the Poetry Project as everyone else. Any and everyone is welcome to participate and partake of the this amazing and wonderful opportunity. After everyone and every category has been written about, The Poetry Project will be put together and submitted to become a published poetry anthology.

For those who are wondering what we are going to be writing about, here are the categories:

Darkness
Anger
God
Love
Romance
Choices
Stories

Each category will be gone over one at a time and will have everyone's best work in each of them. How this will be accomplished is by having people and those involved with the Project vote/rank everyone's entries from one (1) to five (5) (one being the favorite, five the least favorite). Each number one ranked entry a person receives will go into that person's "Finals" list. After a person has five (5) number one (1) ranked entries in their "Finals" list, those "Final Five" will be voted/ranked once more. The top three (3) (1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranked entries) for that person will be added and be apart of the actual book that is be published.

We hope that everyone one will partake in this opportunity and enjoy doing what they love to do...write!
