Welcome To Our Blog

Welcome to The Writer's Block Blog. Writing and keeping you updated on the events that occur on the forums. We are pleased to have a blog that will allow people to read the updated info on our site.

We are very excited with all that our members are doing on the site and we are constantly looking for more to join and partake in the fun and excitement that is awaiting inside. We have just started some new things that are going to be quite fun and will get people involved in the forums and with each other.

THE WRITER'S BLOCK PROJECT is one of those new things. THE WRITER'S BLOCK PROJECT is an ongoing, perpetual story that is created, developed, and written solely by the members of the site. That means that any and everybody, that is a member, can add to the progression and development of the story. Most people don't quite understand what this means, so I'll elaborate a little. If you decide to participate in the Project, you will have the authority to do what ever you wish to the story (as long as you follow some guidelines that have been laid out) because you are now one of the story's authors.

If you want to kill off a character, you can do that. If you want to through in a twist in the plot, you can do that as well. The story is now in your hands! It is literally an interactive book! You and the other readers/participant will embark on a journey that you decide where it goes and how it ends up. This is novelty at it's finest because all other books out there have a predetermined story that the author wants you to follow, but here there is no predetermined story line to follow because the next stop in the story is entirely up to you!

This is our biggest project going for us right now, but there are many more to come. We also, just recently, started our awards program that any and everyone can partake in. To find out more about that, you will need to join the forums and see all that we have to offer.

Well, until next time. Keep reading, writing, and loving the literary arts!
